no

Yep, it sure can.

Just like I can cook you dinner or draw your portrait. Will it be any good? Questionable.

You see, just because something can be done doesn’t mean it should be. AI is only as good as the information you give it. And unless you happen to be a professional copywriter, UX designer, and brand strategist rolled into one, you probably don’t know what information it needs. So, you give it the bare minimum, and it makes assumptions about the rest. It literally fills in the blanks and makes stuff up.

That means incorrect information, misrepresentation and a website that feels nothing like your business.

A robot will build you a website that could belong to anyone, anywhere, selling anything. Not your business with your story.

Because here’s the thing: people buy from people, not robots.

Are you more likely to buy honey from the cute old man at the farmers’ market who harvested it himself? Or just Google “best NZ honey” and pick the cheapest option?

Yeah, same.

AI doesn’t care about your feelings, your success, or whether your website makes you look like a legend or a joke. It’s just executing a task and then asking ‘is there anything else I can help you with today?’

AI can build you a website. But it might be shit, and then you’ll have no idea how to fix it.

Kind of like how I can cook you dinner. But it might be hard to stomach, and you’ll wish we ordered Uber Eats.

If you want an option that looks like you, sounds like you, and resonates with your customers. Leave it to the professionals who know what they are doing.

Because AI can feel like magic, but the real magic is in your story – and who you get to help you tell it.
